Do Truong Thanh asked: For on-campus students are we staying online or studying in the class?

41:19
How has the assessment structure changed?

42:43
@Do Truong Thanh: we are back on campus on 7 March, As an on-campus students you will have 2h face-to-face tutorials and 1-hour online workshops. The face-to-face sessions may be subject to COVID restriction.

43:16
can you sit in on campus for the workshops?

43:40
yes Liam

45:39
Craig do you want to ask questions?

46:10
how does it work for on-line student? do I carry out the tutorial, workshop online?

46:21
Mic not working

46:27
Is there more flexibility now with census dates and what not? Say I get covid mid-semester and am out of action for 2 weeks my semester is pretty well a write off. Is there any recourse to drop out or to bad so sad, do it again next semester and pay again?

51:24
Census Date is the Monday of week 3

51:26
Term 1 Census date is 24th January

51:46
Carolyn that must be Summer Term

52:00
my apologies - it is 21st March

52:41

54:03
One other question, what's the difference between what we've had as a 'lecture' vs a 'workshop'?

55:04
Arlo -Withdrawal without fail can now be applied for in the refunds and Remissions eform - More info if required : https://www.scu.edu.au/current-students/student-administration/fees-and-charges/refunds-and-remissions/

55:42
Thanks Kayla!

55:50
or Vinh

56:27
You normally have lectures before studying the supplied materials and workshops AFTER studying the materials.

57:14
I presume Blackboard is still the method of interaction or are there additional tools we will require?

59:04
yes via Blackboard (it looks different though!), and if you need additional tools for a particular unit it will tell you about them in Module 0 (the introduction to the unit)

01:00:49
Does the dependency on prescribed text books change with the new model?

01:01:18
The content is on BB but the online sessions will be delivered either through BB Collaborate or Zoom or other online platforms.

01:02:57
As at today, my BB looks the same for me as it was last year. Is there a new URL or will I see the new look from next week?

01:04:39
May be we can show an example module to the students?

01:04:54
is it possible to share screen to show the new look of BB?

01:05:04
sorry I was late but has the plan for the equity and inclusion program been finalised? I asked in the past 2 forums but it hadn't been finalised

01:05:45
That's a lot of tabs Vin!

Student Equity & Inclusionhttps://www.scu.edu.au/current-students/services-and-support/student-equity--inclusion/

01:07:58
my concerns were to do with health problems where I would be unable 2 study for 2 weeks for instance last semester I was unable to study for that time period but I was able to catch up because of the 12 week layout but now 2 weeks is 1/3rd of the unit

01:09:56
ahh ok I was worried about the fees still being charged

01:10:36
Unfortunately I have another commitment - thanks everyone for coming :)

01:14:07
This new layout/structure looks great so far 👌

01:16:01
A side question for someene - who can I call , to understand difference in the majors that have occurred over the last 2 years, as they have changed since I enrolled.
